Campaign Story
* Typical cost of capstone projects (including registrations, travel and supplies) is about $1200.
* I am trying to raise $600 as family and school will cover the rest.
Goals for My Fundraiser:
Supporting my capstone project
*** I plan to pursue the project though participation in TSA activities like competitions and community service. ***
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that helps students explore STEM through hands-on projects, competitions, and leadership opportunities.
What is ‘Melodic Paws’
Develop a tech-enabled platform that schedules and manages canine-assisted music therapy sessions for youth in underprivileged communities.

Why I am pursuing this project (My why)
- I am a ‘Stylish Thinker’ personality type person with strong ‘innovator’ business potential.
- I’m combining my passion for music therapy, dogs, and social work to create a tech-based project that makes healthcare kinder and more accessible. My goal? To help tackle global hunger in a compassionate way. Let’s make a difference together!.
My plan of action: Competitions and Activities
Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) to join:
TSA – Focuses on technology, design, and innovation, providing a platform for students to develop hands-on technical skills and entrepreneurial solutions.
FBLA – Offers business skill development, strategic communication, and leadership opportunities, critical for managing innovative projects and understanding business dynamics.
Competitions
FBLA – Coding & Programming
This introductory FBLA competition is ideal for building a foundation in technological communication and programming skills that support the technical aspects of Melodic Paws.
Community Service:
Melodic Paws Community Outreach & Pet Care Workshop
Why it fits: This activity connects the passion project to the community by raising awareness about pet care while integrating creative musical elements; it promotes the key themes of empathy, innovation, and community engagement central to Melodic Paws.
Implementation: Plan and organize a community service event in zip code 30038 during the Spring Semester of Year 1. Arrange workshops on pet care, hold a small concert or interactive music session with local artists, and involve local animal shelters to promote pet adoption and care.
Skills Development: Event planning, community engagement, communication, leadership, empathy
